Now I have seen your excellent restoration and now I also understand your
problem!!

Engine, Gearbox and chassis numbers don't match with Land Rovers, but I
would agree that that is unlikely to be a CKD as apart from anything else
the rear cross-member of the chassis is not right for the Minerva. The
Minerva chassis doesn't have the PTO hole. I think there is a chance that
they mixed it up with a Minerva number as you have suggested.

Looking in the LRSOC records there is engine No 26130152 in a 1951/2 80"
in France with the chassis No 26130143. There is also a Belgian ex-police
one with the chassis number 26130176.

I am afraid that Land Rover didn't keep records of the engine number, but
you don't know whether the engine is original to the vehicle. I am afraid
that your only way would have been to have found the original number on
the chassis.

I think I might have told you before that I have a Minerva in Scotland,
but now I have bought another one! I have to come to Belgium soon to
collect it. My first one was near Brugge and so it was very easy to get
to Zeebrugge and on the ferry to Hull, where my trailer was waiting. My
next one is near Liege and I think I will bring it back from Dunkerque to
Dover, the ferry is cheaper and I must have my trailer in South England at
that time.
