Hey David in Indonesia !
and all companions, fellow-sufferers in Series One !

Welcome to our little group, David

I'm Luc in Belgium (coast side) and enjoyed David's pic's and explanation.
I learnt a lot too from the reactions of all our other friends, especially
Brokentore, Martin in Canada, Forwyn, aso.

I'm restoring " Mazarine ", a 1953 80" LHD, which was owned by the Belgian
Gendarmerie (National Police).

We started in 2007 and the truck is not yet ready.
Nevertheless I try to send you some pic's and hope to receive some critique
Also this scrapbook is not yet ready, but I'm enthusiastic to show you what
I already have compiled.

I bought the truck in 1979 and used it for fun at first. Afterwards there
was a long standstill, but now it must become better as new !

Greetings to all Series 1 fans and owners out there.
I'm david, from Indonesia.
This year is very exciting for me because I finally got myself a car of my
dream, a 1949 80" 1.6L series 1.

I know Dewey after more than 6 years of persuading the previous owner to
sell.
Very little history about how this car got here and who did the RHD
conversion. My days filled with assesing, trying to figure which components
are from the right era and whose are just substitution from other model. My
source of info is limited to the part catalogue that I got from the
internet.

Any tips and pointer based from the pics are highly appreciated. I could
take more photos if requested.
