I echo Graeme's sentiments.  I prefer the mailing list for exactly the same reason. I don't haunt the internet all day ( much to my employers relief!) so this keeps me in contact.  If I really need to know something so fast and the daily digest is too long to wait for I can always do it the old fashioned way, I just call you on the phone.

 

I have our local club list on yahoogroups.  One thing to learn is don't list the club to the public, this is how the spammers find you.  We have yet to get any spam in 8+ years.  Many other things I am interested in have/had a digest going on yahoogroups and the list dies because it is public and the next thing you know it is just junk mail and everyone stops paying attention.

They do allow file storage, but I am not tech savvy so how to move files, etc is beyond me.

 

They may be better things to do, this just happens to be the only thing I know about.

 

Regardless to what happens, I want to say thanks to the participants we do have and to Jeremy for keeping us in touch.
